Want to try out Windows Phone 7 on your Apple or Android device? Here's how
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to use another operating system, other then what you use on your mobile phone? Not that you want to admit it, but sure you have! If you have an Android or iOS device, we can show you how to run a Windows Phone 7 Emulator right from your web browser.
All you need to do is go on to your mobile web browser on your device and visit http://aka.ms/wpdemo. Afterwards, you will be prompted to start a guided tour of Window Phone 7 (View the picture below). You will then “switch” from your standard mobile operating system to WP7. Once your in, every tile and function is fully operational, Just as if you were using a Windows Phone 7 device.
After your hands on tour is over, Microsoft will even give you a chance to win a free Windows Phone 7 device. Even though this is just a demo, it does give you a good idea of how WP7 works. Microsoft has figured out a great way of letting users experience a whole different OS within an Android or Apple device, with hopes of converting some users to Windows Phone 7.
