Seems like many people woke up to a rude awakening when trying to access their personal and/or business Yahoo email accounts this morning, including me.

Yahoo Mail users are reporting not being able to receive email messages. There are lots of people on Twitter who have also had issues accessing their mail service. Many have received a “Temporary error: LaunchTAE14” message, after logging in to their email accounts and hitting the refresh button.

Yahoo customers have also noticed Yahoo’s servers taking a long time to respond when trying to receive emails through the computer or a smartphone, such as the iPhone.

Sometimes when checking your mail on a mobile device, you will you get a message stating that the password to your Yahoo account is wrong. Others have reported the “checking for mail” loading bar just keeps loading. Sometimes you are able to get email messages, but it does take a lot longer than usual to load the messages.

Yahoo has released a statement regarding the email issues. Yahoo is aware of the problem and are working to get your emails back:
