New Motorola Droid 3 $199.99 just in time for verizon's new data plans

The new Motorola Droid 3 went on sale today on Verizon’s website. Full retail price will be $459.99 and $199.99 with a two year contract, shipping is free if you order online. The new Droid is only available online until July 14. After that you will be able to walk into a Verizon store and drop two big ones for the latest Motorola smartphone.
A new capped data plan is required from Verizon if you want the new Droid 3. You can read up on all the details on capped data plans here. The only draw back and this may be a big one aside from capped data plans, is that this new feature packed smartphone is not equipped with the new 4G LTE Data technology instead you will still have to use that old 3G technology most of us still have. Some customers might wait to see what the Motorola Bionic has to offer. it is rumored the Bionic will have the LTE 4G technology.
