More than 15 billion Apps have been downloaded in the Apple App store

On the same day Apple announced they were going to patch the security hole Comex found to JailBreak Apple devices, they also announced some interesting stats about the App Store.
In january Apples App Store had already 10 billion apps downloaded from there popular iOS devices. Six months later they bumped that up to more than 15 billion downloaded apps. Over 5 billion downloads in just six months is not bad at all. Just one month after Apples big yearly WWDC conference over 1 billion apps were downloaded. Apple mentioned they have more than 425,000 apps available in the App Store including over 100,000 apps just for the ipad alone. That includes free and paid apps.
More than 200 million iPhones, iPad’s, and iPod Touches have been sold around the world in 90 different countries. The average iOS device has about 75 apps on it. How many apps do you have on yours? You can easily find out by going to settings, About, then scroll down to applications. I currently have 160 apps.
