After that, plug in your iPhone 4S or iPad2 thats running iOS version 5.0 or 5.0.1, click on a button and with a little bit of loading time, you will be cursing through Cydia in no time. -If your on an iPhone 4S, make sure your firmware is set at iOS 5.0 or 5.0.1.
*Note: If your interested in one day unlocking your iPhone 4S for other carriers, it is recommended to stay on iOS 5.0 for now.

-If you're Jailbreaking an iPad 2, make sure your firmware is set at 5.0.1.

Now follow the simple jailbreak instructions below:

1. Download the latest GreenPois0n’s Absinthe A5 tool for Mac, Windows PC, or Linux
2. Open the installer and connect your iOS device to your computer
3. Click "Jailbreak" in the Chronic-Dev Absinthe installer window
4. Ignore the "Restore" icon prompt on your device if it appears
5. Wait until the Absinthe installer bar is full, then tap the "Jailbreak" icon on one of your device's home-screens to finish.
6. If you receive an "Error establishing a database connection" message, end the program and try again until it loads
7. Once the jailbreak is complete, click the "Cydia" app that appears.
8. After Cydia is done restructuring the file system, select your settings: User, Hacker, or Developer.
9. Click "Done" and you're set!
