Microsoft has released a free Codec Pack update for Windows 7 to now support Raw (NEF) files directly in Windows Explorer or Photo Gallery.

Now you don’t even have to have an expensive third party software to view all your great photos in full RAW form. The update supports Raw files from all the big camera companies. Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus just to name a few.You can download the Microsoft Camera Codec Pack here
